EMPACT America is in the process of redesigning its website to serve you better.  We will officially re-launch our site by the end of October.  We are currently working on adding new content and functionality, such as a new “Living Program” filled with interactive content from our September 2009 Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Conference in Niagara Falls, NY (including adding built-in, full-length conference videos, audio files, pictures, PowerPoint presentations, speaker bios., and other extras).  Given that our goal is to educate as many people as possible about the EMP threat, videos (DVDs) and audio CDs of our EMP conference and related material will also soon be available for purchase through this website at very low costs (duplication costs, plus, shipping & handling and subject to applicable taxes). 
We’ve also purchased thousands of trade-edition copies of Bestselling Author and Professor, Dr. William R. Forstchen’s latest work, “One Second After” so that we can share it with as many people as possible.  In fact, thanks to Dr. Forstchen, his publisher, and a generous subsidy donation, we will also be making the book available for sale on this site at a very low price (for personal/educational use only, not for resale, and limits will apply).  “One Second After” is based on extensive research and interviews, and it examines what might happen to the social order in a “typical” American town in the wake of an EMP attack on the United States.  We encourage everyone who visits this site to read it.
